Finding a confident balance in his art, wasn’t easy for Kanien:keha’ka sculptor MC Snow. Even though his journey started at a young age, leading to a BFA in the nineties; being a part of the artworld was filled with pressures of being Indigenous. But today, he sits more comfortably with his large scale sculptures: creating a dialogue between Indigenous ideas and ways of the past with those of the present.
