Three N.W.T. residents are facing drug trafficking charges after two separate arrests by police.

Last Friday, Behchokǫ̀ RCMP seized 217 grams of crack cocaine from a vehicle on Highway 3 that was heading toward Yellowknife, as well as cash.

Kyle Mantla, 32, and Andrew Adzin, 34, both of Behchokǫ̀, have both been charged with possessing a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Then on Tuesday, Délı̨nę police made a separate arrest and seized 113 grams of crack cocaine, as well as 13 grams of what they believe is Gabapentin, from someone at the Délı̨nę airport.

John Minoza, 36, of Fort Providence, has been charged with possessing a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with conditions of a release order.

All three people have been held in custody pending future court dates.
