Calais Campbell is returning to Arizona.
The Cardinals announced Tuesday a one-year deal with the veteran defensive lineman, bringing the six-time Pro Bowler home 17 years after drafting him.
Campbell’s new deal is worth $5.5 million with a max value of $7.5 million, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The 38-year-old played his first nine NFL seasons with the Cardinals and registered 56.5 sacks with the team from 2008-16. He spent 2024 with the Miami Dolphins, finishing the campaign with 12 tackles for loss and five sacks in 17 games.
Campbell also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2017-19), Baltimore Ravens (2020-22), and Atlanta Falcons (2023).
The former second-round pick is one of the league’s most respected linemen, having won the Walter Payton Man of the Year award and being named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.
Campbell has been chasing a Super Bowl title throughout his career but has yet to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy. The Cardinals haven’t made the playoffs since the 2021 season.
